Rubberised Cork Gaskets and washers
Grindbeck – Zebra Rubberised Cork Gasket sheets are available in 2 Premium Grades with Compression strength above 75 mpa ( 10000 Psi), High Tensile strength stress from 2.5 to 15 mpa resistance to temperature -30 to 125ºC and Hardness 65+-5 for our Grade GCS-II (RC-70-C) and 5.5 to 20 mpa resistance to temperature -40 to 125ºC and Harness 75+-5 for GCS-III (RC-80-C) and suitable for fluid contacts like mineral oil, Natural ester oil, silicone oil and SF6 gas.
It is very important to note that a good gasket hardly costs 0.2% cost of the transformer. A bad gasket may consume 40 % life of a transformer which can lead to expensive damage.
Available in standard sizes ranging 610 x 915, 915 x 915, 1000 x 1000, 1040 x 1040, 1200 x 1200, 1000 x 2000, 1200 x 2400 and thickness from 3.0 mm to 16 mm
Rubberised Cork Washer Kit is widely used for gasketing of bushings, radiators, and oil gauges. Such washers can be used in electrical switchgear also. These kits are available as per customers' drawings and requests.
